SHORTAGE OF TALL SERVANTS.
LONDON, September 12. There is a dearth of servants at Buckingham Palace owing to the men in livery being required to be six feet tall and only Britishers being engaged. The wages are the same as in other households, but the men are granted pensions after service of a minimum of ten years.
