WELLINGTON. May 12. The .criminal sessions of tho Supreme Court commerioed to-day. In his charge to' the^ Grand Jury the ChiefvJustice,' Sir.Rober't,Stout, said that none of the charges :werie'of a serious nature, but <»ns?deririg, "tllp : district, and' oonsidering also the.number of persons who had pleaded, the number, ol criminals was far m, excess .of the number in some southfrrri'districts, but he could not say there was ft decrpase.
