(To the Editor.) k™'T ar Suments of the Saturday .baiuaokers are amusingly contradictory: Ihe-y tell us that closing on Saturday will npt result, in.■•any lass, of busiuess to local traders, yet in the-next breath (like a man I met" to-day) they ray that they want Saturday so that employers and employees can 'get a;way for. ..the week-fend 'from Saturday' to Monday".' See;'the'point?- With everybody away, l>ang goes the week-end trade. It ..will;: be <a' good thing for', tradars in other centres, for they will have.to provide supplies for theweekendera. No thanks. My boss only does^enoxigh to makeit possible for him to keep me on now. I'm not for hurting his business. I'm for Thursday.— I am, etc.,
