Sir, —It has been suggested in print,, and I have-/heard it on the street, that Cr. Liffiton is resp-onsible as chairman of the Finance Committee for the present condition of the - Borough'soverdraft, and that he ought to- have' formulated his reform proposals before instead of waiting until he became a candidate for the [Mayoralty. I desire, -m common fairness; to say /that■ Gr.
