The sad double tragedy at iMarton Junction last evening, when a married man named William Urquhart fatally shot a young woman named .Lorna Gladys Gordon, to whom he had Ibeen, attached, and then took his own life, formed the subject of an inquiry this afternoonj when Mr J. J .-McDonald, District Coroner, unravelled the mystery. The inquiry was conducted without the aid of a jury. Constable Fitzpatrick represented the police, and Mr •Collins the parents of the girl victim.
