ME. WILLIS IN A NEW ROLE.
-SYDNEY, December 17. Speaker Willis's latest role is as a critic of the State scHools. Speaking at the Teachers' Conference, in reference to religious teaching in schools, he characterised the State sysiem as - a Godless, system, iii the midst of which God was not. ,His remarks met with strong dissent at the gathering. -An ex-Minister of Education and the Director of Education replied, warmly defending the system and repudiating the charge-. - <
