THE MANAGERS-METHODS
HELSINGFORS, December 16. The swindles perpetrated by Idmalis, the bank manager, have caused a sensation.
He had thirty years' service in the bank, and he was-implicitly trusted. After advancing money on securities, he aibstracted the latter from the bank and obtained personal Idtuis thereon from other banks.
Over two hundred firms'and wealthy persons have been partially or wholly ruined.
Two female cashiers have been -arrested. They confessed that they were aware of Idman's irregularities.
