HUNTERVILLE
When the idea was first mooted that a monster fete be held with the object of wiping off the debt on the vicarage fund, it caught on immensely, and the bin event to be held on January 29th, is (being looked forward to with great* er interest even than Christmas. Committee meeting^ have been held galore, and the genial secretary, Mr. H. J. Middlemas. has got the various committees, etc., so well in hand, that everything is running with clockwork precision.
On Wednesday last, a "kitchen ten" wa.q held in connection with the fete at the Tiictnresque grounds of Mrs. Audrey There was a. very large gathering, and as a result n. magnificent collection of kitchen 11 tonsils was donated to Mrs. Audrey's stall.-
A 'book title competition was hold, and p-jrn'ted considerable amusement. Mrs. Wallace secured most points, and won first prize.
'Marton'« fino baml and orchestra has been pnccafrod for the fete, and really big thinsr-s are expected.
