SWIMMING.
WANGANUI LADIES' OLUB
At the meeting at the Ct rporation Baths on Friday evening, a Ladies' Swimming Club was formed,, about 5O members being enrolled. The following bffifoers were e;lec£^d:—Patron, Mrs. C. E. Mackay; president, Mrs. Dr. Anderson; vice-presidents, Dr. Dunn, Mrs. Hughes Johnston, Messrs. C. E. Mackay, H. M. Payne, C. E. Newcombe, D. McFarlane, F. M. Spurdle, C Swan, M. L. Lampe, Dr. Anderson, Dr. Waif; captain, Miss A, 0. Alexander; vice-captain, Mis s W. Cannons; secretary and treasurer, Miss P. E. Sarten; committee, Mesdames Rankin, Millward, (Dr.) Gregg, McFarlane, Misses Thomas, McDonald, and Burmister. Mr. C. E. Newcombe donated half a guinea to the club's funds.
