DAY EVENING
The concert; to be given in St.'Paul's Hall -on Monday evening iby Mrs. O. I. Spillane" and pupils gives promise of being on© of the most enjoyable musical events of the year'. It will in truth be a night of song, for no fewer than twenty-two vocal gems are included in the well selected programme. Among these. are two delightful part songs, German's "Lovely May," and Lohr's melodious "Slumber Song." Three pretty duets, a male quartette, and a wide range of solos go to make up the exceptionally attractive ibill of fare. Both Mr. and Mrs. Spillane^ who are always worth hearing^, contribute lib--6i ally to the programme, while Mrs. 1 Spillane's talented' r pupils,' 'both ladies and gentlemen, 'are " allotted numbers specially suited to their respective voices. Although the programme is a lengthy one, the prohibition of encores will enable the many delightful items to be got through by 9-30. in .time to enable patrons to catch the early cars.
