The <Mt. Lyell dlisaster inquiry commission will hold its first (meeting at Queenstown. The Government and all panties involved will Tie represen'ted. Counsel and the commissioners descended the mine under expert guidance, and inspected the workings. There were evidences everywhere of destruction and desolation caused 'by the ravages of ithe fire.
