An innovation in bowling matches took place yesterday afternoon, when the Thursday teams of Wanganui and Gonville tried conclusions. The game.,, proved most enjoyable, and resulted in a win for the senior club by the narrow margin of three points in a three rink match. On JNTo, 1 rink Hodson's team beat Muir's fairly easy by 8, on No. 2 rink, Bain and Flower played an interesting game, and finished 15 to 17, while Gower was 9 up on Nixon. The te^ms were:— Wanganui: Trengrove, Thorpe, Wright and Muir (sk.), 16; Gonville: Reading, Gilberd, Kingsley, and Hodeon, 24. Oallaghan, McNdiven, ißatqs, and Ham (sk.), 17; Rice, Watson, Jones, and Flower (sk.), 15. Vance, Todd, McMurray, and Gower (sk.), 25; Murray, Higgie, Foster, and Nixon (sk.), 16. The players thoroughly enjoyed the game, which we understand is the first of a eeries.
