HALF-YEARLY MEETING

The half-yearlling meeting of the: M'arton Junction Brass Biand was held last night, Mr Fred Pumell presiding, and the proceedings were of la most enfthu^

Mr Martin, who had provided 'aooammodiation for the practices, was 'ak» donated two guineas. Mr Fred Purnell and Mr Lloyd each donated a guinea, for which thanks were duly returned.

The election of officers resulted in Mr Fred Purneld being unaniiimously ireelected jptesident; Mr A. F. (Shame conductor; Mt >R. McDonald, ibland/m/aster; Mr P.. P. Stevens, hon. secretary: Mr 'Water-worth, treasurer. The oomnmttee were also elected as .follows.— Me^ra -Banton, Bridge", and Martin.
