The annual report of the Lieutenant Governor of Papua shows that steady progress is being made* The territory revenue increased £5,000, trade £15,000, and imports £3,ooo,*but exports decreased"'£lß,uoo. The area under agricultural settlement is 24,000 acres, compared with 16,000 in. the previous year. The gold output \i <b"elow 1911. He speaks hopefully of the future of agricultural and mineral developments.
