BAILIFFS AFTER KUBELIK.
VALUABLE VIOLIN SEIZED
ECHO OF A NEW ZEALAND TOUR
(United Press Association .-^-Copyright.) BERLIN, December, 12. Bailiffs appeared at a concert hall and seized Kubelik's Guarerius violin, valued at £1,500, to satisfy Hugo Gorlitz's judgment of £1,250 in connection with the New Zealand tour. Kubelik offered a cheque in payment, but this •was refused.
Kubelik will shortly leave for Vienna to undergo an operation for appendicitis.
(Hen- Hugo ..Gorlitz sued JCubelik for £1,250 damages in connection with the violinist's New.Zealand tour. The case was heard in New Zealand.)
