BOARD OF GOVERNORS
A meeting of the Board of Governors of the. Girls' College Svas held. Accounts amounting to £405 7s. 4d. ■were passed for payment. Two tenders were received for painting the College, and that of Messrs. Hughes, Allomes. and Tar rant was accepted, the Board paiirfcer to act as supervisor.
In regard to an assistant in place of (Miss Currie (on leave). Miss Cruickshank recommended that Miss Haslett's services Tie retained. The recommendation was adopted. • It was decided to give the cardener a bonus of £-5, and increase his wages to £2 15s. a week.
