The Board of Education last evening passed'■ resolutions of conidiolentoe with tho relatives of the victims of th© Pipiribi drowning (disaster. The mamibers of Sib. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Bible Class and Choir gave a farewell social on Monday evening to Miss Radt, who is leavinjg Wansanui this month to meat h©r sister from Tasmania, and they wjbemd taking a trip to Europe. Miss Raiit, who is a great favourite fn the church, was pr»senited with a handtsorae baind-ibiag, filled to ovei^flowing %vith 'beet 'wishes for a pleasant time abroad.
