BUILDERS' CONFERENCE.

Tho Builders' Association Conference approved of the continuance of the Arbitration Act and support the retention of a legal gentleman as President. The conference is in favour of the Act being amended to allow of awards being extended to a. term of five years, also that tho whole matter be relegated to the executive for consideration.
The Builders' Conference also resolved to wiro tho Minister protesting against the passage of the Plumbers' Registration BiJ.l in its present form, pointing out that it threatened an unfair restriction being -placed on builders by tho sub-contractors.
