An agitation is now in progress "in London to havo the noisy hooting of motor horng forbidden.
Representations have been mado to tho Home Secretary that tho weird rounds emanating from somo of these instruments of torture are most annoying, and Mr. M'Kenna is being urged to suppress tho nuisance.
Mr. George Moore, the novelist, has written to the Minister protesting that men and women lying in hospitals are being hooted to death.
