FREMANTLE, Oct. 30. Mr Horniman, manager of the Aus-
tralian Olympic representatives, has arrived. He said he was r>leased to
record that tho team of Australian oarsmen in one hit did what it took their cricketers year to accomplish. Only world's champions had any hope at Olympia. They should try to send world's champions. He does not consider the ideal of an Empire team workable, tho component parts "not desiring it. Tho German would be a very systematic, thorough, and serious competitor >at the next Olympiad.
