Loan and Mercantile Agenc} Co., Ltd., report for the week ending as follows: —At Feilding on Friday w« had a good yarding of both sheep anc cattle, and had an almost complete clearance at late rates. We quote a* follows: —Small shorn hoggets Bs. 4d. fat shorn ewes 155., fat woolly ewe; 18s. 7d., prime fat woolly ewes 235. 2d. forward wethers 225., forward mixec owes and wethers 19s. 6d., ewes wit! iambs at foot 17s. 2d., springing cow* £4 145., backward cows in calf £3 tc £3 75., 15-montKs heifers £3 9s. and £'c 12; i. to £3 155., ditto Jersey cross £; 175., yearling heifers £3 os. 6d. to £c 35., 2-year steers £4 25., store cows £S 12s. to £3 75., springing heifers £4 17s. 6d. to £5 10s., old cows 395., bulls £4 17s. fid., £5 to £8. At Aph.i on Tuesday wo had a mod ium entry of both sheep and c.i'tle, which sold readily at late rates. We o uoto as fololws: —Wethers hoggets 14s. Bd., mixed hoggets 14s. 9d., ewe hoggets lGs. Bd., 2-year heifers £3 13s. 6d., springing cows £7 ss. to £8, heifers in calf £5 Is. 6d., bulls at all prices from £3 to £7, fat cows £5 7«. 6d. A numbor of sundries sold at full market value.
