On Wednesday evening next., in -the Girls' College Assembly Hall (kindly lent for the purpose by Miss Cruick- >

shank), present and past pupils of the College will present Goldsmith's wellknown play, "She Stoops to Conquer.'" Great pains have been taken in preparation, and a very pleasant evening is assured to all who attend. Apart from this, the fact that the proceeds aro to bo handed to the Haydn Beck Committeo is an added reason why the Assembly Hall should be filled to tho doors for this interesting performance. Tickets may be obtained at Messrs Jones and Son's, A. D. Willis, Ltd.. and P. A. Krull.
