REFEREES' ASSOCIATJON
A sparsely attended meet-ing ('f the Wanganui Referees' Association wps held on Saturday evening, Mr L. E. BiiSsctt presiding. The election of officers resulted .is follows: Chairman. Mr L. J. Furrie; Classification Committeo, Messrs J. Wesney and H. Tillev; Appointments Committee, Mr H. Tillev. The appointment of the hon. secretary was held over till next mestina,. as was that of the delegate to the Referees1 Conference, which is to be hold in Wellington at Easter. It was decided to nominate Mr L. J. Furrie :ts o vice-president oi tho N.Z. R«forces' Association. It was'decided that the next meeting be held on Saturdsiy. ydi April, and that in the meantime a special effort be made to enroll new members
