CHURCH ANNIVERSARY.
The annual Tea Meeting and Concert to celebrate the Aramohb Wesleyan Church Anniversary took place last night. The tea was well attended. When the concert commenced at 8 p.m., the schoolroom was packed. -. Rev. E. D. Patchett presided. Mr. F. Whitlock, Secretary of the Trust, read his report, which showed that church matters were most satisfactory, all departments of the work being well sustained. Special mention was made of the choir, and of the excellent services rendered by Mr ? ; Wellington (conductor) ahd ;C Miss Lints (organist). The 'programme was indeed an excellent one. Most of the items were encored and deservedly so. The Lyricquin Orchestra rendered very nicely two selections, Mr. Gilchrist (violin solo), Master-Eric Lind (pianoforte solo), Mr. Walling (trombone solo), all the items t being exquisitely rendered. The vocal part of the programme was- of a high order. Mr. E. H. Short (two songs), Mr. L. Craig (two songs), Mrs. L. Goss and Miss "Lints (each, a song), Mrs. Wellington and Miss Lints (duet), Mrs. Wellington, Mrs. Goss and Miss Green y(trio), Mr. A. Thompson recited "Scandal" and was encored. Several requests have been made for the choir to repeat the Service of Song "The Californian Nuggett/' rendered on Sunday.
