BULLS TOWN BOARD.

The monthly meeting Was held-pn Monday evening. • Present: Messrs J. E. Walker (chairman), E. M. Broughton, D. Coughlin, J. Fletcher, • G.. H. Hathaway, and W. Homes. Correspondence was read— I From the inspector of nuisances, reporting .the. sanitary condition of the township a.s satisfactory, with .two exceptions.—Resolved that occupiers of premises' where niusances exist be required to abate same, otherwise .the matter be reported to the Department of. Public Health. From Mahawatu County Council \ requesting that a- delegate be appointed to represent the Board on the committee set up for the purpose of. forwarding the extension of Sanson tramway.—Mr D. Coughlin appointed. In compliance with a requisition from -the business people-of the town,' thechairman was authorised to invite the residents to observe Saturday, '■ the 25th insfc. (being the date of..the West Coast P.olo Club's Sports), from 1 to 5 p.m., ac a holiday. An application from ifche poundkeeper* to have a waiter tank placed at the pound was held over. The roadman was instructed to have a new gate placed at the Board's metal pit.

Accounts amounting to £30 5s lOd were passed for payment. Messrs. Flower and Hathaway were. appointed a. Works Committee for the ensuing month. .

BULLS DOMAIN BOARD. A meeting of the above was held at the close of the Town Board meeting yesterday. The same gentlemen were present. Correspondence .was received from the Audit Department, returning the balance-sheet for the year ended Derember 31, 1910 duly certified to. From Mr J. G. French, drawing attention to the inconvenience caused to Versons running stock on the- Recrea- * tion Ground by lea vine: the gate open. — Resolved (Fletcher—Homes) that in future persons leaving the gate open will not be allowed to run stock on the grounds. Accounts amounting to 17s 3d were l--;i«sed for payment. The meeting then adjourned "Advocate."
