. The. final (United v St. .Paul's) was easily the best game of the afternoon, but Avas partly marre by tlv? failing light. St. Paul's had played one game more than United, and in the semifinal against T.Y.M.I. A AA'ere more extended than United against T.Y.M.I. B. The game was very fast, and the St. Paul's forwards, by half-time, although leading I—o, were almost run off their feet. Changing ends United made a very determined and persistent attack, their condition and combination showing' t6 . advantage. Scores AA-ere registered by Soler and CaA re. Time sounded with Thomson in the United circle, with a golden opportunity to equalise the score, but it AA'as too late. The United ware again the winners of the coveted cup/ Russell scored for St. Paul's. Both teams played very well indeed, but ths old horses m the United vanguard seemed too doughty for the smaller fry in blue. On the day's play Andrews, or the right Aving for the United, stood out on his oAvn. It Avas a treat to see him take the ball down' the line, evading all and sundry, and centre beautifully to his inside men, who were lined up in front of their opponents' goal. ' Russell, for St. Paul's, Avas the "layoy next to Andrews who, throughout the afternoon, showed most brilliantly. "Horace" AA'as in excellent condition, and worked hard.
