Captain Pavitt was accorded a full military funeral/ There was a large attendance of volunteers and civilians. The Hon. Buddo telegraphed the' Secretary of the Education Board as follows: —" Deeply regret to hear ,of CaptairT Pavitt's death. As a "I&Sp&rl~memlj>er of the Board's staff he •Hvftr^te regretted by all who knew him. Kindly convey my symaphty to his 'sorrmving relations." ■*
