SYDNEY, July 5. An address and a piece of plate have been presented to Mr Darroch, chief officer of the Uiimaroa, by a number of the passengers, in recognition of his bravery in saving a passenger who fell into the water at Wellington, during the last trip of the steamer. MELBOURNE, July 5. The contract recently made for a fortnightly steamer service between Melbourne and Fiji has been abandoned but possibly another tenderer may accept the contract. ,
