SALUTARY FINES
(Per Frees Association. j DUNEDIN, July 2. Five sly-grog cases came before the Police Court this morning, Mr Widuowson, S.M., presiding.'
Mary Tansey, of the Coach and Horses Hotel (Saddle Hill) was convicted and fined £20 and costs £1 4 s 3d.
Annie Esther Tansey (her daughter) was fined 20s.
A case ;against John Tansey -was" dismissed. .;"
Henry Alexander, of the Globe Hotel. Princes Street South (a house unlicensed by the Reduction vote six years ago; and now used as a boarding-house) was fined £20 and costs 7s.
James Gibobns, occupier of the Ka'ikorai Junction Hotel, neai- Burnside cattle yards, unlicensed at the 1905 poll, was fined £25 with costs 7s.
