Mr Newton King reports for the week ending July Ist:— Cattle.—At Douglas* on Monday wcanere made 28s to 295, forward cows £3 os to £3 11s, 18-month steers £9 10s. 2 to 24-year do>. £3 3s to £3 Bs. Sheep—Lambs 8s 3d to 8s lid, cull lambs 4s 6rl. At Stratford on Tuesday cattfe came

forward in good numbers. Bidding was j brisk, nearly-everything bemg done-at the hammer. Fat and forward cows were in jrood demand and cold at increased rates.
