At our Palmexston North sale this day ire had a very fair entry of both sheep and cattle, nearly all of which were sold under the hammer. Wo quotesSheep.—Mixed lambs 8s lid to 9s Id, small 2-tooth ewes in lamb to 12s, fat ewes 12s Gd, 2 and 4-tooth wethars to 12s Id, light fat wethers 14s 3d, young ewes in lamb to 15s sd. Cattle—Empty cows to £2.12s 6d, light fat heifers £4 to £4 ss, late springing heifers to £4, forward bullocks £6" to £6 16s.
