■PALMERSTON N., July 1. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Lt-1., report:— At Palmcrston North on Thursday, sheep sold particularly well. A good entry of cattle met with keen inquiry, buyers being particularly keen after grown bullocks and fat 'stock. Wo ouoto:—
Sheep.—Wethers (small) lls Od. Cattlo.—Forward bullocks £5 4s to £6 Is, light fat bullocks £C 18s (3d. fat heifers £5 to £5 19s, store cows £4 7s, dairy cows £4 10s to £5, email he:fers in calf £2 3s.
