A SERIOUS ACCODENT.
WOODVILLE, March 27. Wiljiam Logan, settlor, and a member of Ihe Woodvillo County Council mot with a serious accident some time yesterday. He rtas riding his horse over the back portion rf his farm, which is rough country, when the horse fell ovo»- a cliff and' broke bis neck. Logan was knocked insensible by the fall and lay out ail night. He was found by a coffpJc of neighbours about ten this morning, and it was then discovered that Logan had his left leg broken above the knee and blood was all ovor his body and face. He .was immediately conveyed to >th? Pahiatua hospital, where tli9 limb was set/ Logan was not quite conscious when the ■doctors left Rim.
