FIRE ON STEAMER.
(United Press Association—Copyright.) COLOMBO, September 3. A fire broke out in No. 3 hold of the steamer Roon, froni Sydney, while lying at Colombo, but was quickly extinguished. The fire damaged some •sheepskins, copra, and plumbago, which were among the cargo.
