Wool- —Prices' were on about a par with last sale rates. We quote:—* Crossbred 3d to 4d, dead wool 4d, crutchings 3d to '3^ pieces 2d. . -Skins.—For any good lots competition was very keen, but ■for inferior pelted skins: /buyers'' are not at all anxious, unless they can get them at their prices. Farmers would do well to see that more care is taken in the saving^.of their sheep skins. -"': We quote:—Crossbred ;4|d to 4ad, broken do 3|di lambs 3^d to 4^d .dead lioggets 3S, part damp skins 2s -lid up to 4s Bd, salted crossbred skins 2s 9d to 3s Bd, salted lambs 2s 2d. Hides.^We had a very good offering, and secured goodl prices, for all lines. We quote:—Ox 5 l-8d to s£d, cows 4fd to 4 7-Sd, yearlings 3jd to 4d, calf 6|d to 7^d, cut and slippy 3Jd to 4id, cut and slippy calves Id to 4id, bulls 2fd^ Tallow.—^Casks in shipping condition £23, tins 17s 6d to 20s 3d, rough fat 16s 3d. - • Cowtails:—'ls Id per dozen.
