. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.", Limited, Wanganui, report having held their usual monthly sale yesterday, when there was a full, attendance of'buyers and spirited cbmpetitibri for all' good lots of produce submitted for sale.
Wool.—Prices were slightly advanced on last' sales rates, coarse crossbred fleece selling at 4d to;4ad, orutchings from 2^d to 3^d, dead wool 3^d to "4id, crossbred lambs 3|d, locks and pieces from Id to 2£d.
Sheepskins—These showed an advance of from id to per lb^on last sales rates. Fine crossbred rules s;£d, coarse to medium 4^d to sd, crossbred ,3|d, crossbred (broken) from 2jd to 3jd. bare pelts lfd, dead and part dry crossbred 2s 3d to 2s 7d each, part dry crossbred 3s 3d to 4s Id each, salted crossbred Is 8d each. •.■'■.'-',r
Hides.—^An advance was recorded 'n all classes of hides. Heavy ox rules from s^d to 5| per lb, medium 4|d to 5 l-Bdj light (none offering), heavy cow hides 4jd to 4fd, medium and light up to 4^d, yearlings 4Jd, weaners 3|d, calfskins s^d to 6 7-Bd, slippy and damaged calfskins 4 l-8d to 4|d.
.Talloww—Casks hi: good condition for shipping £23 5s and £23 per ton, tins 20s 3d per cwt, bags and packages of ■ rough fat 16s per cwt.
