Sir, —Will you kindly allow me, through your columns, to acknowledge, with many thanks, receipt of the following further subscriptions to the fund 1 am raising for Caldock, the composer of tho tune of the above beautiful hymin, who is penniless and in sad distress just now: —H.A. Is, B.A.S. 10s, E. A. H. 3s, J.G.O. 2s 6d, Helped by this Hymn of Sympathy (Wakefield) ss, Friendship 2s 6d, S.O.H. 3s; total, £1 12s. This amount, less Is 3d for expenses paid, was f oi-warded to London on August 27th, making a total net amount sent to date of £16 18s.
