A UNIQUE TREAT—TO-NIGHT!
The box plan for the above has been filling rapidly, and all appearances indicate that a bumper house will greet the bright little Wanganui marvel at the Opera House this evening. Haydn Beck is a happy, cuily-haired, handsome boy, who thoroughly enjoys his playing. His ochievements since the age of cix are believed to be; with a parallel in the_ world's history of child violin celebrities—certainly, unsurpassed. The object of the concert is to raise *fiuids^for/a.^dturo',potitiiienWL^Tatning7.'': ing,; which has -been ;seriously' r ady;ised by the world's twogreatest' violinists^' Kubelik arid Marie Hall. Thatt the boy is a clever natural musician there is no doubt, and he will amply demonstrate hia ability to-night. The piece de resistance will be his Becond riumber of three movements, I>e Beriot's " Seventh Concerto," which gives ample scope for a bi'illiant display.
