Mffi; AUCKLAND, August 29. ;^The Auckland Northern Union Football League has decided to send a team to Wellington to play the representatives of that city on September sth. The team will leave Auckland on Wednesday next, and will probably play a at New Plymouth on the way down. " -
the local Recreation Ground on Thursday next, and promises to be a wellcontested game. The local team will bo a very strong one, containing, amongst others, several Wanganui rerepresentative players, namely, Abbott, Southcombe, McDonald, Campions (2), Souter, Hogan, Dustin, Aitken, and several of the local senior Saturday players. The Aucklanders defeated the local team on their last visit here two years ago, when they played with splendid combination, and judging by their play in the northern city this season the local team, good as'it is, will have to play well, to win. The final selection will be published on Tuesday
