The New York correspondent of the "Times" reports a sensational incident whereof President Roosevelt's second Mm Kerroit was the horo. A pair of Worses harnessed to a carriage at Oyster Bay, containing a lady, a "-gentleman, and two children, bolted. Kermit, pursued on horseback for a mile, and brought the runaways to a standstill by seizing tb.9 reins and almost unhorsing himself. Kermit" departed without revealing his identity to the grateful occupants of the carriage.
