LONDON, July 13
An omnibus, carrying ;Vj picknickers, chiefly married tradesmen, at Orpington, was desending a bill when the brakes failed. The cmnibus- ran away, and when travelling at a terrific speed crashed into >an cak tree. Ten were killed and twenty-six 'injured.
