The Takapuna Jockey Club's summer meeting concluded to-day. The weather was dull and showery. There was a good attendance. The sum of £8785 was put through the totalisator during the day, making £25,059 10s. for the meeting £1379 was invested on the doubt event machine, worked in connection with the Borough and Summer Handicaps, a div'dend of £33 19s. being paid on the winning combination, Takaroa and Gladstone, the winners of the Borough and Summer Handicaps respectively.
