An Auckland wire say! that a raft 7 feet long and 4 feet w.de, constructed of kauri timber, soiiewhat worn, has been found on th« west coast, north of Hnkatere. It; has on each sido three oil drums desijned to act as) floater*, and an empty bx fastened to the centre. There is nothing to indicate whero tho raft cam from, and it has evidently been in to water for soma time. :
