WELLINGTON, November 20. The Jewish residents of Wellington at a meeting passed .resolutions of protest against t!he Russian atrocities and sympathy with the 'suffering Jews. £350 was collected in the room, and contributions diave 'been received from other parts of the district. AUCKLAND, November 20. A meeting of Jewish citizens yesterday passed a resolution expressing great horror and grief at the hideous massacres and outrages endured by their coreligionists in Russia, and expressed a desire itdiat evea-y means should at once 'be taken to evince the deepest sympathy and extend aid to the afflicted people, fervently praying that Providence will speedily deliver tnem from all o<ppression and misery and protect tlliem from further peril and attack from riotous and ferocious factions. It is reported that £20 was subscribed to the relief fund.
