BOWLING.

On Saturday afternoon the bowling green was insufficiently large to accommodate alf 6ho players,, and several of the later arrivals were unable to get a game. The following were the scores: Rink I.—London, Miller, G. Paterson, and J. Paterson (skip) v. "Wright, Cohen, Lomax, and Rodwell (skip). This match was for the fern leaves. The first half of the game was contested point by point, but in the second half Rod well's rink had all the worst of the game, which ended—Paterson 23, Rodwell 10. Rink 2.—Spriggens, Sims, Fountain, and Dickson (skip) 24 v. Hoggard, Verney, Maclean, and Perrett (skip) 20. This was a match game for the full rink trophies. ' Rink 3.—Cresswell, Hutton ? Foster, and Tows-ay (skip) 24 v. Rankm, Moss, Spurdle, and Keesing (skip) 25. This was also a match game, Foster playing as substitute for Stewart. At the tea adjournment Towsey had only scored 1 to Keesing's 20. Then Towsey began to score rapidly, putting on 23 points while' Keesing was making 5. Rink 4.—Willis, Reed, Tyerman, and A. MoFarlane (skip) 17 v. Sherriff, Pawson, D. McFarlane, and Elliott (skip) 20. Rink s.—Wilding, Newcombe, Milne, and Armstrong (skip) 24 v. Bryce, Gilberts, Gray, arid Weekes (skip) 17. Rink 6.—Graham, Murray, Carson, and Benefield (skip) 21 v. Peake, Christie, Stanford, and Salmon (skip) 19. Rink 7.—Siddels, Taylor, Griffiths, and McCarthy (skip) 20 v. Clark, Mo Beth, Greenwood, and Tuck (skip) 11. During the week a match was played in class A, singles, Wilding defeating Perrett by 20 to 12.
