OPERA HOUSE.

"MY SWEETHEART."

TO-NIGHT.

At the Opera House this evening the Wanganui Amateurs will bring the above comedy under public notice, and judged by tho heavy booking, and the interest; generally displayed, they will bo favoured with a very big house. We havo during the past few days made extensive reference to the comedy, and ouv readers should be in touch with the performance, which promises to eclipse every previous effort of the Association. O.ui" representative had the pleasure of being present at the full dress rehearsal last evening, and several oi tho parts are played right up to professional form. "Laugh and grow fat" in n well known saying, and that Messrs. Swan, Hardwieke. and Co. will add considerably to tho avoirdupois of those members of the community who attend, the Opera House to-night or tcmorrbw evening is a foregone conclusion. Everyono who enjoys a hearty laugh should bo present. Lovers of good music will have their passion gratified. Most people like good acting, and there will bo some fine character delineation shown. The children who are assisting show every sign. of careful training. Summed up, it is a very fine show, and we hope to see this verdict endorsed by a largo: attendance. of. tho public. The curtain will rise punctually at 8 o'clock, and circle patrons are requested to be seated at that hour.
