ADELAIDE, September 13. Tho Budget estimates a £9000 surplus for the current year, while the surplus for tho year just closed amounts to £43,000.
HOB ART, September 13. Tho Treasurer has withdrawn his remarks in the Budget commenting on the incapacity of the Federal members.
ADELAIDE, September 13. Tho Budget referred with satisfaction ti the increase in population, though it is not increasing fast enough. It also expressed the opinion that if the British could not mate better use of Australir. than occupying it with four millions it did not deserve to hold it.
