Mr. Payno has selected the following junioi* representative team to play foi Manawatu .against Wanganui on Saturday:—Full back, Porteous; threequarters, Scott, Price, Clayton; fiveeighths, Coifey and Simpson; wing. Thompson; forwards, Setford, Whisker, Kyle, Rivers, Best, Thompson, and A. Williams. Emergencies—Forward, Elliott; back, Edgecombe.
A match, Merchants v. Bankers and Ironmongers, will foe played on Saturday. The Recreation Ground will be the scene of the great contest provided the consent of ,the <Rugby Union is obtadned.
