(Per Press Association). PALMERSTON N., 'September 5. Tbo Australian football team arrived by tho midday train to-day, and were anet at tho station by tho Mayor and officiala of the Manawatu Union. The Hawko'a Bay members of the combined team arrived yesterday. The visitors practised in the Show Ground this afternoon, and tho officials of the New Zealand Rugby Union journeying with them statd that they are improving every game. The forward division of tho combined team averages a stone and r. half heavier than the visitors.
