THE STOCK MARKET
N.Z. LOAN AND MERCANTILE AGENCY CO. Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report as follows : Sales have been held at Himitangi, Kimbolton, Hunterville, Palmerston and Feilding, and >a clearing sale oi; dairy stock on behalf of Mr T. Miller, oi Tokomam. At Himitangi a line of 8.00 hoggets made- 13s 9d. A small entry of cattle canio forward, most of which were quitted. At Hunterville we had a good yarding of sheep, »and although bidding at 'auction was slack, a tiTtal clearance was effected, prices being a little easier. At Palmerston we had a good entry of sheep, mostly of inferior quality. .P^rioes were easier all round, but the 'majority wero sold mostly by private treaty.
